How to pause automated task creation when user is Out of Office

If a rep is out of office, pausing task creation for that rep will ensure that no new tasks will be automatically generated by the Agent in their absence. 

The steps an admin should follow for pausing task creation for the rep will vary based on the type of Sales Engagement Platform the team utilizes.

Outreach Customers

For Short Absences the linked Outreach article above details two options:

1. Rep to Pause Prospects before they take PTO

2. Manager or colleague manages active tasks on absent rep's behalf 

Salesloft Customers & No-SEP Customers

Reps will need to disconnect their email inbox from Regie.ai before taking PTO

How to Disconnect your Mailbox from Regie.ai

1. Log into Regie.ai and go Settings

2. From the My Account tab, scroll down the page to the Mailbox section

3. Disconnect your mailbox from Regie

4. That's it! When back from PTO simply return to your Settings and reconnect your mailbox to resume receiving new tasks.
